Stellar Aviation begins three-phase expansion at Reno-Tahoe International Airport

Stellar Aviation Group has completed its three-phase expansion at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) to address growing demand. The project had an estimated cost of $25 million and will include two more 30,000-square-foot hangars, over 10,000 square feet of office space and a 5,000-square-foot executive terminal.

COO of Stellar Aviation Group, Brad Kost, said that “this new state-of-the-art facility will complement our existing facilities in Reno and provide a modern gateway for all valuable airport users and economic partners in this fast-growing market.”

The first phase is expected to be completed and ready for business by spring of next year. This will provide a boost to the local economy and create over 100 jobs. The new facilities will allow Stellar Aviation to meet the growing demand for hangar space and aviation services in the Reno area. CEO of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority, Daren Griffin, emphasized the importance of the expansion.

“All companies moving into the region have aviation needs and Stellar is an important part of meeting that need,” Griffin said.

This expansion is an important milestone for Stellar Aviation Group as the company plans to continue expanding its operations in Nevada. In addition to the Reno project, Stellar is planning to establish a new facility at the Carson City Airport. Stellar is positioned to meet the growing demand for aviation services in the region and beyond with its strong commitment to customer service and safety.

Stellar has been operating its facility at the Reno-Tahoe Airport since January 2020. The organization also operates FBOs at the Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport (SPI) in Springfield, Illinois and at the Palm Beach County Park Airport (LNA) in West Palm Beach, Florida.
