Skyservice Business Aviation has broken ground on a 71,000-square-foot FBO and hangar complex at Seattle’s King County International Airport- Boeing Field (BFI).
The new jet center will include lounge and relaxation areas, a two-story open reception area and a 1,600-square-foot second-floor terrace that will overlook Mount Rainier. Guests can expect access to the executive conference rooms and break-out areas.
The hangar space will comprise of 50,000 square feet to accommodate large aircraft, like the Gulfstream 700 and 800, the Global 7500 and 8000 and the Dassault Falcon 10X.

“Seattle is a very important location for Skyservice as we expand our FBO, MRO, and industry-leading Aircraft Management company in the Pacific Northwest,” Skyservice President and CEO Benjamin Murray said. “We are committed to working with the airport to upgrade and expand its infrastructure, focus on sustainable operations, and provide greater choice in the marketplace.”
The new development of the new facility included plans to increase the ramp footprint. Skyservice Seattle will move operations to a temporary facility will the private jet center is constructed. The company will also continue providing comprehensive FBO services, like ground handling, aircraft refueling, lounge amenities, ground transportation, flight crew lounges and sleep rooms.

The North American leader in business aviation has just celebrated year 36 at the forefront of the business aviation industry. In December it announced plans for a new facility at the Napa County Airport (APC).
Skyservice also expanded its Oregon FBO network in October, adding a new business jet center at the Redmond Municipal Airport-Roberts Field (RDM) and an additional 16,000 square-foot hangar at Bend Municipal Airport (BDN).
