
Canada-based Porter Airlines in the past week has launched four new routes, the carrier announced Wednesday.
Flights between John C. Monro Hamilton International Airport and each Calgary and Edmonton began June 11. Flights between Hamilton and each Halifax and Vancouver started June 3. The Hamilton airport is located about 40 miles outside of Toronto.
Flights are operated with Embraer E195-E2 aircraft configured with 132 two-by-two seats. Economy class includes free Wi-Fi, beer, wine and snacks. Also available is the carrier’s PorterReserve fare, which includes meals, extra legroom, a seat in the front of the aircraft, dedicated check-in and security, and two checked bags, according to the carrier.
