Pentastar Aviation receives Gogo Galileo HDX for Gulfstream aircraft

Pentastar Aviation has received a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from the FAA to install the Gogo Galileo HDX antenna on certain Gulfstream aircraft.
The company can now install the antenna on Gulfstream IV, IV-X, G450, V and G550 series aircraft. The first installations included a G450 owned by a private customer and a G550 owned by Hatzolah Air Aviation Rescue. Pentastar’s avionics team has extensive experience in avionics system integration design, STC development, and service and maintenance.
“We are excited to partner with Gogo in bringing this product to market for Gulfstream owners,” said Pentastar president and CEO, Brad Bruce. “The speed and coverage, combined with the integration abilities, truly make Galileo an exceptional one-of-a-kind solution. We’d also like to thank our launch customers for their partnership in bringing the HDX antenna to the skies. Hatzolah’s ability to utilize the system to stay connected to live medical data on the ground during their lifesaving missions is particularly unique, and we are humbled to be a small part of their incredible operation.”
