JetBlue has partnered with Brightline, a high-speed rail service in Florida that connects Orlando with Miami and points in between, the carrier announced Tuesday. JetBlue customers now can book Brightline tickets directly on the carrier’s website as part of a combined air and rail itinerary.
The Brightline Orlando station is located at Orlando International Airport. In South Florida, the rail company offers shuttle service between airports and nearby stations, which include Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach.
In addition, the agreement enables JetBlue “to offer alternative itineraries that include Brightline rail segments during periods of irregular Florida operations,” according to the carrier.
