Among the company’s most senior hires are Ryan Williams now serving as chief information officer and Bryce Bell, VP finance and operations. Williams most recent posts were at QuEra as CIO and at Frontline Education as VP of cloud operations. Prior to that, however, Williams spent nearly five years in various tech-focused roles at Cvent. Bell previously held finance positions at Shopify and ezCater.

Additional hires include Michael Cooley as director of implementations for regulated industries, Dave Magargee as senior product manager and meetings management consultant Kara Krall

Groupize has experienced particular growth within regulated industries like life sciences, for which the company has developed specialized AI-powered tools, as well as growth among public sector clients.

“As we capture significant
market share in highly regulated sectors, we are staying true to our mission
and building a product and a team that reflects our commitment to innovation
and service excellence,” said CEO Alisa de Gaspe Beaubien in a statement. She also underscored the corporate travel buyer traffic across Groupize’s owned marketplace, The Vendry, which has grown 56 percent year over year.
