Etihad Airways on May 4, 2026, will launch nonstop service
between Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and Charlotte, N.C., the carrier
announced Friday.
The route will operate four times weekly with Boeing 787

become Etihad’s sixth U.S. destination, joining New York, Chicago, Washington,
D.C., Boston and Atlanta, which begins service July 2.
In addition, the carrier announced an agreement to purchase

deal includes a mix of Boeing 787 and 777X aircraft, powered by GE engines,
according to Etihad.
