EAA brings back Homebuilders Week webinars for new and experienced builders

EAA announced on Thursday that it is bringing back its Homebuilders Week webinar series on Jan. 26-20, 2026.
The series included 30 free, virtual presentations that are designed to teach new aircraft builders new skills or sharpen the skills of experienced builders. Six presentations will be presented daily from 11:30 a.m. Central time to 8:15 p.m. The presentations are open to everyone, but registration is required and space is limited.
“The homebuilt community continues to evolve every year as new builds begin and current ones become airworthy,” said Charlie Becker, EAA’s director of chapters and homebuilt community manager. “No matter what stage of the process a new or experienced builder is at, EAA Homebuilders Week has a webinar to meet their needs.”

Presentations will span topics such as getting started, engine installation and FAA certification. All of the live sessions will leave time for questions and some webinars will be eligible for FAA WINGS and AMT credit. One webinar on Jan. 26 will be hosted by EAA’s advocacy team to cover MOSAIC/Sport Pilot 2.0, current issues for homebuilders and other changes and challenges.
Recordings of the webinars will be archived and made available to EAA to watch and review at the end of the week.
