Daher’s environmental efforts are recognized with a “Leadership” rating from the CDP organization
Daher’s efforts in environmental transparency and performance have been recognized by CDP, an independent non-profit organization that serves as the global benchmark for environmental disclosure. The Daher Group received an “A-” (Leadership) rating for its contribution to the fight against climate change – an improvement that places Daher among the most committed companies in its sector.
This distinction recognizes the tangible actions undertaken by Daher to decarbonize the aerospace sector, as well as the company’s commitment to a 50% reduction in its CO2 footprint (Scopes 1 andamp; 2) between 2022 and 2032, aligned with the 1.5 °C trajectory of the Paris Agreement – the international accord to limit global warming.
Daher’s corporate decarbonization commitment is formalized in its Climate Policy (see the Climate Policy on daher.com), which defines clear targets and roadmaps to achieve this ambition. It also reflects the Group’s proactive strategy, built on strong environmental governance, carbon emission management, industrial collaboration, risk management, and stakeholder transparency. The “A-” rating highlights both Daher’s ambition and the effective actions taken to reduce its climate impact, as well as the quality of the data disclosed.CDP: A global benchmark for climate transparency
CDP (previously known as the Carbon Disclosure Project) uses a rigorous methodology to evaluate data quality, risk management and the implementation of best practices. Its scoring system, ranging from A to D-, reflects the level of ambition and the actions taken to reduce climate impact.
In 2025, more than 22,100 companies responded to CDP’s questionnaire, and nearly 20,000 were scored. Aligned with the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) framework, the CDP maintains the world’s largest environmental database. Its evaluations are widely utilized by investors and procurement teams to guide their decisions and accelerate the shift toward a sustainable and resilient economy.
Significant progress for Daher
Since its first evaluation, Daher has made notable progress across several key areas: strengthening initiatives to reduce emissions from its operations; developing products and systems aimed at reducing CO2 emissions from Daher-built aircraft and those of its customers; defining ambitious climate targets; and integrating the energy transition at the core of its corporate strategy. The transparency and quality of the information disclosed have improved, and the engagement of partners along the value chain also has been strengthened.
“This CDP recognition is an important milestone for Daher and confirms the relevance of our climate strategy,” explained Julie de Cevins, Daher’s Chief Sustainability Officer. “It recognizes the collective commitment of our teams in turning Daher’s ambitions into real and sustainable actions. Together, we are contributing to the decarbonization of the aerospace sector and building a future that is significantly less carbon intensive. My thanks go to all of those who help drive this transition every day!”
Sherry Madera, the CDP CEO, said, “A CDP score is a sign of commitment to high-quality data that enables companies to take earth-positive economic decisions that future-proof their operations – improving access to capital, competitiveness and compliance. Tackling environmental risks head-on will create a more resilient economy and increase companies’ ability to innovate and invest. We look forward to seeing all companies build on their scores and turn their commitments into meaningful and effective action.”
