AmTrav has expanded the content available on its platform, including ancillary bundles from United Airlines, New Distribution Capability content from Frontier Airlines and Brightline high-speed rail, the travel management company announced.
The NDC connection with Frontier gives AmTrav clients access to “the same pricing, itinerary and service options” available through the Frontier website, according AmTrav. That includes Frontier’s Business bundle, which includes seating in the first two rows with blocked middle seats for extra room.
Frontier joins six other carriers with which AmTrav has an NDC connection, including American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, Spirit Airlines, Breeze Airways and Hawaiian Airlines. AmTrav reported that in the second quarter of 2025, NDC bookings accounted for 61 percent of total AmTrav-issued airline tickets, and for NDC bookings on American, Southwest and United, the NDC fares were lower than what was available through non-NDC technology 21 percent of the time.
“We will use whatever technology is available that gets our customers the lowest fares and best servicing,” AmTrav CEO Jeff Klee said in a statement. “Right now, that happens to be NDC for three of the four largest U.S. carriers and many other airlines around the world.”
AmTrav established its NDC connection with United in 2023, and it now has added access to the carrier’s ancillary bundles that include prepaid Wi-Fi and the first checked bag as well as a United Club lounge pass, the TMC said.
In addition, AmTrav announced it has added Florida’s Brightline high-speed rail content to its platform. Brightline currently provides service from stations in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Orlando, with service to Tampa as well as a service connecting Los Angeles and Las Vegas in the works.
