U.K.-based travel management company network Advantage Travel Partnership is partnering with payment platform ConnexPay to provide payment services options for the network’s members.
ConnexPay, which was Travel Innovator of the Year at the 2023 Phocuswright Conference, lets TMCs connect customer sales with payments to suppliers for better transparency and reconciliation, according to the company. The company can issue virtual cards throughout the world, payable with the Visa, MasterCard and UATP networks.
“Payment is a critical part of our members’ businesses, so we want to enable them to streamline this process and see this as a significant step in providing support,” Advantage managing director of global business travel Andrea Caulfield-Smith said in a statement. “By partnering with ConnexPay, members will be able to improve their cash flow, changing the way online sellers do business, while also reducing any risks due to operating on one platform, thus reinforcing our commitment to innovation.”
Advantage is made up of individually owned travel businesses that together cover 750 locations in the U.K. as well as 83 countries across 96 network partners, according to the network.
