Bombardier has announced that it delivered fleet operator Vista’s first Global 8000 jet at the company’s London Biggin Hill Service Center.
Vista plans to fully upgrade its current Global 7500 aircraft fleet by the end of 2026. Two jets per month will be delivered for a total of 18, making the largest subscription fleet available of the Global 8000. This announcement follows the Feb. 11 announcement of Vista’s order of 40 Challenger 3500 business aircraft, with purchase options for an additional 120 aircraft.
“The Global 8000 stands apart as a truly no-compromise aircraft, delivering unmatched speed, exceptional comfort and industry-leading field performance,” said Eric Martel, Bombardier president and CEO. “With the addition of the Global 8000 to its fleet, Vista will offer its customers the best of what is possible in the industry.”
The company claims the Global 8000 is the world’s fastest business aircraft, with a top speed of Mach 0.95. It entered into service on Dec. 19, 2025 and was first delivered to NetJets on March 26, 2026. The aircraft has a range of 8,000 nautical miles, and what Bombardier says is the lowest cabin altitude in business aviation production of 2,691 feet at a cruise altitude of 41,000 feet. The company states that the low cabin altitude reduces the mental stress that comes with high-altitude travel. Bombardier also claims the Global 8000 is the only true four-zone business jet to offer a range of 8,000 nm.
