Direct Travel is making its Avenir Travel Edition platform available to Omnia Partners members as part of an expanded partnership with the procurement organization, the travel management company announced.
The new agreement enables Omnia members, which represent more than $30 billion in annual spending, to access booking content and support via Avenir Travel Edition. Direct Travel launched the platform, which combines a Spotnana-powered booking platform with Direct Travel’s support network, in May.
Direct Travel already has been a supplier partner with Omnia for eight years, providing travel services to members, and the expanded partnership brings “powerful new technology to a proven partnership that helps our members simplify operations, reduce costs and elevate the traveler experience,” according to Omnia Partners EVP of partner development Allan McCombs.
Omnia is a purchasing organization for both public and private sector businesses as well as nonprofit, real estate and private equity markets.
