American Airlines has added five new European routes to its summer 2026 schedule, the carrier announced Thursday.
Year-round service between Miami and Milan, Italy, is scheduled to begin March 29, 2026. Beginning May 21, the carrier will launch summer seasonal service between Philadelphia and each Budapest, Hungary, and Prague, Czechia. Two new destinations to and from Dallas Fort Worth include Athens, Greece, and Zurich, Switzerland.
The Zurich route will operate only until Aug. 4 with Boeing 777-200 aircraft. The four other routes each will use Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
In addition, American will extend service between Dallas Fort Worth and Buenos Aires, Argentina, from May 21 to Aug. 3, operating with Boeing 787-8 aircraft. The Zurich route and the Buenos Aires expansion are to “connect soccer fans to Dallas” for the FIFA World Cup next year.
