Rosewood Names Ingham COO | Business Travel News


Anthony Ingham

Rosewood Hotel Group, parent of the luxury Rosewood Hotels & Resorts chain, has named former Marriott International and IHG Hotels & Resorts executive Anthony Ingham as its new chief operating officer, effective Sept. 1, the company announced.

Ingham, who will report to Rosewood CEO Sonia Cheng, will be responsible for “enhancing the guest experience and driving operational and commercial success across all the Group’s properties while leading the global teams across operations, commercial, CRM, retail, wellness, digital and e-commerce,” according to the hotel company.

Ingham formerly served as brand leader for Marriott’s W Hotels and The Luxury Collection, and previously served as VP of luxury and design brands at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and global director of guest experiences at IHG. He most recently served as executive director of membership, brand, marketing and experience for The Hong Kong Jockey Club.

Current COO Joerg Zobel joined Rosewood Hotel Group in October 2023. Rosewood did not clarify to BTN what Zobel’s next step would be. 

Additionally, Rosewood named former Mandarin Oriental executive Luca Finardi as VP of operations for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Caribbean Atlantic, effective June 1. Finardi, who most recently headed operations for Mandarin Oriental’s portfolio in Italy, will report to Ingham after he takes his new position. 

Rosewood Hotel Group also is the parent of upper-upscale New World Hotels & Resorts. The company in total said it has 56 properties in 25 countries, with 30 properties in development.
