JTB Business Travel has launched a travel management platform for clients built on Spotnana technology, the travel management company announced.
The TMC’s Teal serves as a single platform for travelers and travel managers as well as JTB Business Travel’s travel advisors, in which travel managers monitor program data, set policies and track progress with sustainability initiatives, according to JTB Business Travel. Travelers can book, modify and cancel trips on Teal as well as get alerts and global support. It “[brings] together JTB Business Travel’s global expertise and Spotnana’s cloud technology to deliver the best possible travel experiences,” according to JTB USA general manager and VP of global business travel Geert de Boo.
The TMC said initial users of Teal have an average self-service online booking rate of 94 percent.
JTB Business Travel said Teal also has integrations to HR, finance and expense management platforms and can be rolled out across multiple countries simultaneously. JTB Business Travel is offering the Spotnana platform in more than 15 countries now and expects to expand that to more than 25 by the end of the year.
JTB Business Travel, which is based in the U.S. and has a significant footprint in Europe as well, first announced it was partnering with Spotnana about a year ago. Spotnana earlier this month launched its Spotnana Cloud product suite for TMCs.
