Navan has launched a new data analytics tool that it says
can provide interactive insights from more than 100 complex travel data points,
the company announced.
The tool, developed with AI analytics provider ThoughtSpot,
was designed to help clients analyze spending and savings opportunities without
having to analyze complicated spreadsheets or pull in data experts, according
to Navan. Data points analyzed include travel spend by department,
out-of-policy bookings percentages and the amount saved with New Distribution
Capability bookings, and clients can customize the data with filters and
categories,
The tool also lets users set notifications for data, so they
are alerted when travelers hit set spending limits rather than having to
monitor the data.
Navan is offering the analytics tool at no cost, and it
currently is available for the company’s U.S. customers. A global release will
follow “soon,” according to Navan.
