Amadeus is migrating part of its technical platform to
Google Cloud as part of a new partnership with Google, the company announced.
The travel technology company said it deploys a
“multicloud strategy” to complement its global reach, and moving part
of its platform to Google Cloud will “enhance operational efficiency and
resiliency,” according to Amadeus. In particular, Google’s data analytics
and management will help it “harmonize data across its diverse customer
systems,” Amadeus said.
The company also will be leveraging Google Cloud’s AI
technology, including its Vertex AI, which will help Amadeus deploy AI
solutions more quickly using the tool’s large selection of large language
models. In addition, the companies are exploring integrating Amadeus
MetaConnect and Amadeus Nevio into Google Flights and Google Offer Management,
ultimately improving user experience and market presence for airlines,”
according to Amadeus.
